Madeleine(Maddie) Specializes in a vast set of topics across the spectrum of mental health, including trauma, eating disorders, mood disorders issues related to the LGBTQ community, body image and self esteem. She is a Clinical Social Worker, having earned her Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University She is trained in Mindfulness- Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), an evidence based treatment technique to treat anxiety, depression, and everyday stress, as well as Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), an evidence based practice that involves learning to respond to difficult thoughts and situations with a skill set based in empathy, understanding and curiosity.
